Two outstanding rounds of seven under par saw the Capella Golf Club course record crushed by Hayden Hearne & Brendan Smith last weekend. Congratulations to both golfers on wonderful rounds of golf. Hayden taking out the Peak Downs prize and Charlotte Briese winning the ladies division.
Event Sponsor Steve Taylor, of Steve Taylor & Partners, was also acknowledged on the day with a gift of appreciation for his 25 years of generous support to the club. Over the years, Steve has also been a supporter of other clubs in the district including the Golf Central Highlands Association. Huge congratulations to Steve on an unbelievable achievement.
Well done to Damien and his team of supporters for a well presented course and a organised event that it meant for an enjoyable day out. It was great to see the support for the Capella Golf Club in the field of 49 players. Lots of players had a great time on and off the course. Apparently there were plenty of plays for titles and playoffs for six packs!
